Hot Wheels has decided to collaborate with SUPER73, an American lifestyle adventure brand fusing motorcycle heritage and youth culture, to join the latest craze and release their very own electric bike. The Hot Wheels inspired bike uses the SUPER73-RX platform, debuting the companies most powerful and technologically advanced drive system with multi-class ride modes.
Featuring a 960 watt-hour battery, the bike is driven by a powerful internally geared brushless DC hub motor capable of outputting up to 2000 watts of peak power. Materials wise, the frame of the bike is crafted out of aircraft grade 6065/7071 aluminum alloy, which is lighter and more rigid than steel.
Moving to the suspension, the Hot Wheels RX sports an inverted coil-spring fork with air assist and a rear piggyback Coilover mono-shock. The fully adjustable suspension also includes preload, compression, and rebound adjustments, allowing each rider to be able to fine tune their setup for their desired riding style.
The fully customized Hot Wheels edition RX showcases a special edition paint scheme, custom embroidered seat, and many more special features. The bike itself is street legal and does not require a license or registration. Each Hot Wheels x SUPER73-RX is built to order and assembled in Southern California. The limited edition bike has a production cap at just 24 bikes, with a price tag of $5,000!
